     I grew up in northeast Alabama around a colorful cast of characters...most of them being my immediate and extended family members.  For much of my childhood, my family lived in a small, brown house.  The house had carpet on the walls and a wood stove, and it was filled with love and warm memories.

     When I first thought about producing my own projects, I thought about where I came from and where I wanted to go in life...essentially, who I am and what I want the work to represent.  That little brown house I grew up in is always in my heart as is my family.  That's what brownhouse ENTERTAINMENT is about.  The word "brownhouse" is lowercase and all one word to represent the fact that we are all in this together, like a family...and great things can start with one REAL idea if we remember where we came from & we work with an attitude of gratitude.  That's how we approach everything we do.

     So, that's a little bit about me.  I'd love to share the longer version with you sometime...maybe over coffee.  I hope we get a chance to meet and work together and have conversations about REAL things other than work.  :)
